Which video card should I buy?
I want to buy a geforce 6200 agp 256mb video card. I am cheap, but I don't mind spending a little more for quality.
Should I buy an eVGA video card for $55 with shipping, or should I get the higher quality ASUS video card for $70 with shipping? Is ASUS $15-worth of higher quality? How about an NVidia brand for $67?
I have an ASUS mb, AMD Athlon 2400+.
If the eVGA card will do what you want it to, then buy it. Your system sounds like it's a few years old, so I wouldn't spend too much to upgrade it. nVidia (geforce) cards are definitely a better choice performance wise than what ATI offers in your price range. Check online to see if you can find benchmarks for the three cards you are considering and see how they stack up.
