i m using intel p4 2.0ghz with 1.5 gb ram. i have only pci slot ( not pcie). will this card be able to install in my pc. and can i play prince of persia T2T, SOT with full graphic setting and nfs carbon at any resolution without any disturbance
Franky has answered for the PCI express 9400GT. Rs.2800/- is for the PCI express one.
The PCI slot 9400GT is quite difficult to get, as these days PCI slot graphics cards are outdated. Its not even available on Ebay. And no shops keep PCi graphics cards, as no one purchases these cards these days.
And if available it would be costly, should be around Rs.5000/-
So i recommend changing your motherboard, and get a new one which has PCIe x16 slot. And again, is your Pentium 4 socket LGA 775? If yes, then you can get a new motherboard for it, or else you will have to change processor as well.
You can search the market, if anyone has old stock. But you will loose warranty.
And your processor is a Single core with only 2.0GHz which is not good for playing games.
My recommendation:
Upgrade to a good system. Change your processor, motherboard and graphics card.
Buy these:
Processor: AMD Athlon II X2 240 2.8Ghz for Rs.3200/-
Gives same performance as Intel Core2Duo E7500 which costs Rs.5800/-, but is lot cheaper and also runs much cooler. Only 35C under gaming stress, and is easily overclockable to 3GHz.
Motherboard: Asus M2N68-AM Plus for Rs.2450/-
Its an AM3 socket motherboard, so its future proof. All future AMD processors will run on this motherboard. Intel changes its processor socket with every new processor series, so that Intel can sell more motherboard with every upgrade.
Graphics Card:
MSi ATi Radeon 4350 512MB GDDR2 for Rs.2100/-
Same performance as Geforce 9400GT. Runs every game in Full graphics settings in 1280x800 resolution and lower. GTA IV and Crysis run in 1024x768 resolution. Has Pixel Shader 4.0 support for future gaming needs.

MSi ATI Radeon 4650 1GB GDDR2 for Rs.3600/-
40% more powerful than NVIDIA Geforce 9500GT. Runs every game in the world in Max settings in 1336x768 resolution.
Hope you get the best. Its no use spending 5000 or above on an outdated PCI graphics card which wont run games in High settings as the processor is also weak.
