are these good spec for a gaming desktop?

I'm not sure going ddr2 over ddr3 is such a good idea, im sure its meant to save money, but with ram prices as they are, the price for ddr2 and ddr3 kits are pretty much the same. I would also recommend a phenom ii X4 965 black edition over a 1055T. No game will use all 6 cores, and the clock speed is more important, 3.4 ghz in 4 cores performs better than 2.8 ghz in 6 cores even with turbo boost, in games. As for the graphics card, as an AMD purist, I would say go Radeon, but thats just me, the 470 is a good card, but hard to come by, so much so that anywhere you can get them they overprice them. good luck
