Can my PC run the sims 3?

thier requirements are

CPU: 2ghz Pentium4 Processor or Amd Athlon 2000+ Processor
RAM: 1 GB of RAM
GPU: 128mb Video Card (GeForce FX 5900 or Radeon 9500)

my computer had windows xp
intel (R)
Pentium(R) 4 cpu 2.40GHz
2.39GHz , 1.00 GB of RAM

also my display is NVIDIA GeForce 6200 and sound is SOUNDMAX Digital Audio

i really want the sims 3 but i dont know if my computer can run it??

yeah, you should be able to run it, just make sure you have enough memory left for it, if it uses up a ton of memory, then your computer will be slow and everything, but you should be good
