which graphics card is best suited for core 2 duo 1.8 ghz processors?ATI 4650 OR GEFORCE 9500GT?
due to limited frequency rate of my processor suggest which one among these will run modern games at good graphics.
my pc specs are:
core 2 duo 1.8 ghz E 4300
INTEL_D945GCR
1024 MB RAM
also tell me what is cpu bottleneck?can i overclock my cpu .my motherboard is of intel.
The Radeon 4650 is slightly better (around 10% faster than the GeForce 9500GT, not 30% unless you're talking about the rare GDRR3 model)
However, for gaming purposes it's silly to buy a Radeon 4650 when the 4670 (twice as fast) is available for only $13 more!!!

Even with a 1.8Ghz E4300 you'd still see performance increases with cards up to the level of a GeForce 9800GT. So the Radeon 5670 and GT240 are worth considering as well.
Update: A CPU bottleneck just means you reach a point where upgrading to a better graphics card wouldn't make any difference in frame rates because your CPU simply cannot send data as quickly as the graphics card can draw pixels. It's not something to worry about really, it's far more common to have a GPU bottleneck- where upgrading your CPU wouldn't change anything because your graphics card isn't capable of rendering any faster.
