I called and the manufacturer said it can be done when I asked if I could upgrade the graphics card in my laptop but I don't know if this one or what ones to look for that work in laptops, what models/brands would also work for laptops?
Its a Toshiba Satellite A135 btw

The graphic card is for a desktop and not for a laptop.
Upgrading your laptop's graphics card is no walk in the park; in fact it's something more akin to open heart surgery. But it can be done and very costly. Consider buying another laptop with a faster graphic card instead.
