installing a video card...?
Im installing a E-geforce fx 5200 pci video card on my dell desktop..
the dell VGA outlet is damaged and doesnt work any more so i bought the new video card. problem is that i need 2 get into the initial setup F2 to configure to send the signal out through the card..
and cant do that with a blank screen..any suggestions are appreciated..
You might have tried this already, which in case it won't help that much...Try putting the new video card in correctly anyways and plug the VGA cable into it. Most video cards are built so that they function minimally in a plug-and-play environment. See if that works.
