geforce xt 7800

upgrade from a geforce 7600gt(agp)?

hi there
i am looking at a decent upgrade from my current geforce 7600gt(agp)
its been a very good card and produced some excellent frame rates however every year i tend to upgrade so things dont get boring
which of these do you thinks the best upgrade 1>GeForce 7800 GS OC 256MB GDDR3 TV-Out/DVI (AGP) (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-016-BG&groupid=701&catid=56&subcat=411) or the 2.ATI Radeon 2600 XT 256MB GDDR3 HDTV/DVI (AGP) from http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-162-SP&groupid=701&catid=56&subcat=403
the only downside on the 7800gs is its low clock speed(400mhz)were the 2600xt has a 800mhz clock speed,but the 7800gs does have a 256bit memory interface compared to the 128bit interface in the 2600xt

You'll find that agp cards are now highly overpriced because they are being phased out of production, even on ebay you won't find a decent one cheap, you'd be much better off, replacing your motherboard and upgrading to pci-e (If your capable of fitting a graphics card a motherboard is not much more difficult). Then try to keep your ram,dvd, hard drive etc to keep costs down. It'll cost a little more but you'll see much better performance and be future proof for a while longer.

If you must then the 7800gs the best (and last) apg out there but check my card for sale on ebay to see if you can be converted.
