Can NVIDIA PCI and PCI Express be used together?
Hi,
I'm running Windows 2000 with NVIDIA GeForce 6600(PCI Express) and NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 (PCI) graphic cards. Connected to these are 3 monitors. I'm able span display horizontally on only 2 monitors connected to PCI Express card. Monitor connected to PCI card is not displaying anything.I have worked with AGP and PCI card combination. Can someone help me know how PCI and PCI Express cards can be used? Thanks in advance..
I think the problem is that the graphics cards are in different series - one series 6 and one series FX 5, and the drivers may not be compatible with both. I would recommend buying another 6600 for the PCI slot (they are not too expensive).
